Are you getting tired of using a particular thing for its sole purpose only? For example, you have this pair of shoes for big and sophisticated parties but then you got to use them very rarely since you do not really go to parties all of the time. Your shoes will just be left inside the shoe box for most of the time and that is not good. You could either see it getting infested by pests or simply go outdated. That would be quite a pain, right? The same thing is true with all the other things that you have around you. Take your unused pool table light for example; it has to be given some justice and instead of just keeping it in the garage. Yes you read it right, there is more to your lighting than just keeping it somewhere else.

An LED lamp uses light-emitting diodes instead of electrical filaments or gas as the source for illumination. The lamps normally consist of clusters of LEDs within a suitable housing and come in many different shapes, sizes and cap types that can fit directly into the lamp holders of the lamps they are replacing.
LEDs first became available in the 1960s and by the 1970s were being used in a wide range of equipment, however, these early LEDs only had a very low output and were useless for general lighting but were used widely as types of indicator.
To start with they came only in colours (blue, yellow, green, red & orange.) It was only in 1993 that the first white LED light was made by combining the lights that were the colour of the spectrum.
Older light bulbs like the ones still used in homes around the world have a very short life compared to LED lamps, and run on a much higher wattage, making LED lamps more cost effective in an energy efficiency sense, in terms of lifespan, and durability as there’s no filament or tube to break.

The first traveling clock was invented and sold by Abraham Louis Breguet. General Napoleon Bonaparte of Paris, France was the buyer of the clock in 1798, prior to his departure for the Egyptian campaign. Today, there are many companies in existence that make authentic reproductions of both the original carriage clocks, and also those of the esteemed clock designers of the early nineteenth century.
Traveling clocks were initially designed for travelers to use as a time piece while traveling in carriages drawn by horses. It was essentially a portable clock. The design of the original version of this particular clock was a spring driven mechanism that was encased with a metal frame and a glass setting. For ease in carrying, there was a handle located on the top of the clocks. The clocks had to be wound with a key about once every eight days.
Most of the Carriage Clocks had chimes to mark the hour, and some even played songs using various notes and chords. There were also some that had a large, loud bell which was rung on the hour and the half hour. Today some of the modern versions may use the quartz, battery-operated timepieces instead of the spring-driven design, as they are less expensive.
