Common throughout the whole of Asia and particularly in countries like Japan, China or Thailand, and throughout the world, paper lanterns are definitely an attractive product. With their incredible diversity of shapes – accordion, star-shaped, egg-shaped, round or square – paper lanterns maintain their popularity among numerous customers. Extraordinary colours define paper lanterns, turning any event into a memorable occasion. Battery-operated paper lanterns differ from traditional paper lanterns in that the candle is replaced by a bulb. These items are available for sale, often with a spare light bulb thrown into the package.
Fire hazards are not an issue where battery-operated paper lanterns are concerned, as the light bulb poses no such risks. They are fine to be hung in any room or outside in the garden, near your favourite spot. As candles are no longer used to fuel the paper lanterns, you can relax and revel in the atmosphere created, filled with light and vibrant colours.
Paper lanterns function on two AAA batteries. The ON/OFF switch is particularly useful, allowing you to decide when to have the light on and thus maintaining the long life of the battery. The good news is that battery-operated paper lanterns come with a high-efficiency LED light, guaranteeing an extended lifespan of the product to all customers.

There are three elements of paper lanterns that can be customized: their size, colour and shape. Originating in Asia, especially countries such as China and Japan, paper lanterns have made it big throughout the world, reaching all continents. Their colour is a strong visual attribute, as are the shapes they can take; with paper lanterns, any room decor is bound to become more interesting. Should we be concerned about paper lanterns not being legal on the territory of the United States? As luck would have it, this is not an issue worth worrying about.
From the start, you should know that paper lanterns are not risky to use, even when it comes to those that have candles burning inside. Caution must be exercised when using candle-lit paper lanterns but the majority of paper lanterns are nowadays equipped with LED lights or bulbs. Given this fact, you can let go of all your worries. Candle-lit paper lanterns are often used in festivals, be they floating sky lanterns or tea light lanterns (the kind that float on the water, not in the sky). In such situations, extreme attention should be given to the paper lanterns, especially in the presence of strong winds. Despite all these facts, paper lanterns remain a green alternative, protecting the environment.

We all want our homes and gardens to be wonderfully decorated and to have great light sources. We can choose the color, the shape, and the type of paper in accordance with how much light we want to have. We can choose between two forms of lighting: electric with light bulbs or LEDs, or burning candles. We can also choose them according to where there is a suitable location for placement, hanging them out on the porch or putting them right on the floor as decorations.
After much consideration in order to choose the right paper lanterns, most of us will select hanging lanterns with bulbs or LEDs, as they are much safer for our children.
It is common for many kids to have a light on in their room because they are afraid of the dark. That’s why paper lanterns and children are very good friends. These lanterns shine with a very subtle light, allowing children to go to sleep readily during the night.
The best spot where you can place the paper lantern is somewhere up high, so the child won’t be able to reach it, thus keeping him safe from harm. Of course, he has to know about the necessary safety measures, in case he accidentally breaks the light bulb or if the paper is no longer attached to the lamp.
