Predicting the demise of the world has almost certainly been going on since man began thinking, whenever that was. It is warned about in Revelations in the Bible, so that must be about 2,000 years ago.
Nonetheless, it is the predictions of Nostradamus that are the most well-known and most abundant. Some biographical accounts of Nostradamus’ life assert that he was terrified of being persecuted for heresy by the Inquisition, although neither prophecy nor astrology fell under their jurisdiction. He would have been in danger only if he had used magic to support his prophesies.
In fact, his contact with the Church as a prophet and a healer were always very good. His short imprisonment at Marignane in late 1561 came about purely because he had published his 1562 Almanac without the prior permission of a bishop, contravening a recent royal decree.
Here then are a few of the prophesies of the ending of the world and the annihilation of mankind.
December 21st, 22nd or 23rd 2012 are all possible dates for the ending of the world according to the ancient Mayan Calendar.

Lawn tractors are generally small tractors intended for farm work up to 2 acres. There are a number of attachments to the tractor, which can reduce your manual work quite considerably. This may help you employ your available time effectively in working on your garden in trim condition all year round. Lawn tractors are flexible items of kit. They can do a large amount of roles such as cutting, ploughing, lawn rolling, lamp post hole digging, and plenty of other roles that need to be done around the farm or home.
These roles are made possible thru their power take off shaft. This makes lawn tractors one of the gardener’s very best friends.
Purchasing a lawn tractor is much like purchasing an auto. The cost of a second-hand model is a lot less even if there’s little more wear than being driven out from the show room floor.
Consider the tractor you are buying particularly conscientiously. It is sometimes recommended that you try the tractor for yourself and get an idea about the time required in attaching and detaching the various accessories. Test-drive the tractor, and try and get a feel of getting out and in of tractor. Just taking it for a test spin, doesn’t mean that you have to buy it there and then. Resist the pressure, and consider your options carefully.

Both the technology for batteries and their chargers have evolved greatly since their inception. This article will briefly and simply discuss the changes in these technologies.
Parts of the world are no longer using the technology of the first rechargeable cells, which included the use of Nickel Cadmim. You would likely find NiHM in the batteries being used in more recent years.
The most common type of technology used in a rechargeable battery is Lithium Ion. This is the type of battery used in your cell phone. The Li Ion battery is very user friendly, cost effective and has loads of potential for future development.
Lithium Ion has been advanced to where it is solid state, adaptable and very thin. It has the ability to be charged more than a normal battery, up to 40000 cycles. Smart Batteries have the ability to monitor their own charge, which keeps them from over or under charging.
With all these changes in battery technology, what about the chargers? The advances in charger technologies, now allow us to charge different size batteries and charge batteries with different cores, on the same charger. Chargers, also called docks, allow you to charge a 9V Lithium and NiMH AAA battery at the same time. You can purchase one charger and use it for all of your batteries. What could be more convenient?

Numerous things can be done to attract hummingbirds to your garden. Some easy adjustments can be made to make your garden hummingbird friendly, so that you are rewarded with the presence of feeding and nesting hummingbirds alongwith their young ones.
As most of the birds, hummingbirds virtually have no sense of smell. Apparently, these birds depend on sites and are directed by the flowers to find their nectar source. Some of the plants which you can consider to plant in your garden to attract the birds are, cardinal flowers, bee balm, columbine, cypress vine, honeysuckles, petunias, geraniums, fuchsias, Indian paintbrush, salvia, mimosa, azalea, manzanite, butterfly bush, etc. If you are having any doubts regarding their growth in your area, check with the local nursery to find which of them will grow in your garden.
When using your own hummingbird nectar for the feeders you must never add artificial red coloring to them. The red colors of the feeders are enough to attract them. Also, use of honey or artificial sweeteners has to be avoided. Artificial sweeteners do not have any food value and honey ferments easily which can cause sores in the mouth of the birds. The hummingbird feeders in your garden have to be cleaned every 3-4 days and the nectar changed to keep on attracting the birds.

When it comes to learning how to make soap, the easiest method to start on is learning to make glycerin soap. What is glycerin? It is a clear gel that is a by-product of a number of different chemical reactions, including those of other soap making methods and producing biodiesel. The name given to glycerin soap making is “melt & pour” and is very popular amongst those who are new to the hobby. Many like this method because it allows one to focus on personalization and creativity without the chemistry aspects of the cold and hot process. With melt & pour soap making, it is very easy to make each bar of soap unique to your personal tastes.
How To Make Glycerin Soap – Personalize It
Once you have learned how to make glycerin soap, customizing your glycerin soap is as easy as the melt and pour technique itself. Fragrances and colors are added after the heating process is finished. These additives can be all natural or they can employ synthetics. Some natural additives you may want to consider include micas for adding color and essential oils for scents.

Before the soap industry made its shift to less expensive methods of production, most soaps for both the body and cleaning clothes were made from ashes, plant oils, and, as was the case with some Roman cultures, even urine.
Ironically, the first natural soaps were probably made accidentally. As meat was prepared over a fire, the fat would drip down onto the ashes. Now, there are many companies that claim to create all-natural cleaning products. Many of these products are created with pure ingredients, while others use loopholes in regulations to be able to use the label “natural”.
Making Natural Soap – Two Methods from Across the Globe
From Mexico, one method for creating a rich, foamy soap for one’s hair involves using the crushed roots of the yucca plant. This soap has been known to make the user’s hair softer and more manageable. This has been attributed to the rich nutrients and minerals found in the yucca plant. For washing clothes, on the other hand, the leaves of the yucca are used instead.
