Today’s market has provided us with unique appliances to ease the work. The convenience of these modern day appliances have shaved hours and hours off of a typical work week. A hair dryer is one such appliance. A hair dryer, also known as a blow dryer, is an electrical device used to dry and style hair.
Have you ever wondered what those components are inside a hair dryer that lets you blow hot air through your hair without burning your scalp? Keep reading to find out why you won’t sizzle.
When you turn on a hair dryer, flow of electricity enters the device. The electrical energy is then harnessed and used to power a small fan that sits inside of the hair dryer. Although it is similar in shape to a water wheel, it differs in purpose because it actually uses the electrical energy to create movement. That movement is then used to create airflow.
The power supplied to the hair dryer runs its motor and in turns the fan. This fan pulls the air which enters the machine through the groves provided on its body for this purpose. To prevent any unwanted objects entering the machine through the air inlets, a screen is provided.
