It is important to remember that Vanda Orchids have a root system that is always in search of moisture. So – make sure you keep your Vanda Orchids away from any dried flowers. Dried flowers are known to emit ethylene gas and the gas can affect the growth of your Vanda orchids. The Vanda Orchid will flower 2 or 3 times a year with the blooms lasting a month or more at times. When they bloom – they produce stems with 3 or 4 blooms each and a total of 10 to 12 blooms.

The nice thing about Vanda orchids is that the blooms will last as long as a month. Since these are tropical flowers, keep in mind the need for the type of sunlight produced in the tropics as well as the amount of humidity required for Vanda orchids to flourish. Don’t overwater.
